Auburn Gear Aims to Simplify Ring and Pinion Install With New Kit

 Product line and corresponding master install kits raise expectations for aftermarket industry

 

 AUBURN, Ind.  [March 2016] – Looking to establish a straightforward, yet impactful difference to the way consumers buy automotive aftermarket parts, Indiana-based Auburn Gear has released a master install kit for their Performance Ring and Pinion.

 

“Everywhere you look in the aftermarket industry, you see consumers’ frustrations with installing aftermarket products,” said Justin Smith, Auburn Gear’s National Sales and Product Manager for Aftermarket Products. “It is truly rare to find a kit with all the parts you require – never mind one that exactly matches your application. We saw this need and believe we have simplified the process with our new kits.”

 

The line of Performance Ring and Pinions continues Auburn Gear’s dedication to quality in its products, going the distance in both materials and manufacturing to ensure a product of superior and consistent performance.  Each individual part is made of heat treated 8620 steel alloy, quench pressed, dry cut and lap matched. 

 

“While the line itself is impressive, the adjoining master install kits have been a real difference maker for both us and our customers,” continued Smith.  “First, it makes installation as easy of a process as possible, matched for each application.  Second, it is an install kit that actually matches the quality of the product itself, maximizing our customers’ value and ensuring long-term performance.”

 

For each application addressed by Auburn Gear’s ring and pinion product line, a matching corresponding master install kit is now available.  The kits each come with matched ring gear bolts, differential bearings, silicone sealant, pinion bearings, crush collar, brush, pinion shims, differential shims, gear making compound, pinion seal, pinion nut, and thread adhesive. 

 

In addition, each performance ring and pinion comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty, and, depending on the specific product, will have an MRSP price ranging from $170 to $270.  Master Install Kits will range from $99 to $300 dollars.  Auburn Gear has all inventory in stock and anticipates a 24-48 hour turn upon receipt of order.

 

In total the line, and corresponding master install kits, covers 17 applications, with some front and rear as well, for new and late model vehicles.
